Scott C. Smith is an elite Hollywood veteran and the founder of the Texas-based production company After August Films, who has fully transitioned his extensive industry expertise to serving God and the Gospel . Over a distinguished 20-year career, Scott contributed to 23 major feature films—including legendary franchises like Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean for Disney and Lucasfilm —and served as a member of the prestigious Industrial Light & Magic visual effects crew . His world-class technical and production work contributed to two Academy Awards in visual effects and technology . Having recently produced two animated features in the faith space , Scott is currently making his directorial debut with a highly anticipated, faith-based animated feature slated for release in 2028 . This flagship project, currently in development, is designed as a super high-end animated telling of the story of Jesus, leveraging Hollywood-caliber animation technology to share the Gospel with global audiences
