Daniel Giles,

Founder & CEO

Summary

Founded by  Daniel Giles, VerSquare is an innovative platform building the much-needed “trust infrastructure” for small business mergers and acquisitins (M&A). Capitalizing on the $10 trillion “silver tsunami” of business assets currently changing hands, the company addresses a critical lack of accountability in the market that causes 70% of listed small businesses to never sell and 90% of aspiring buyers to never make a purchase. VerSquare solves this high-stakes, low-trust problem by collecting deal-specific reviews from successful buyers and launching a “Verified Buyers Program” to confidently connect buyers with vetted brokers, lenders, and legal advisors.

About Daniel Giles

Founder & CEO, VerSquare

Daniel is an Atlanta-based entrepreneur, a Christian, a husband, and the tired but grateful father of one-year-old twins. He holds an MBA from Yale, where he first entered the world of small business acquisitions. He spent two years as a buyer searching locally in Atlanta, advancing two deals through due diligence before both ultimately fell through. Rather than walking away, he channeled that experience into his first company, Search Assistant, a deal aggregation tool for small business buyers – a valuable chapter, but one that he moved on from as he experienced how AI was reshaping small business and entrepreneurship. That journey, from buyer to builder, from AI-adjacent to fully AI-native, brought him here today with an updated vision to solve the macro problems facing small business M&A.
